Mahesh Navami Festival 2026: Women’s Cricket Final Concludes, Prachi Padwal’s Team Emerges Winner

Udaipur: Under the Mahesh Navami Festival 2026, the women’s cricket final was successfully held amid an enthusiastic atmosphere. The sporting events were jointly organized by Jai Mahesh Pragati Seva Sansthan, Mahesh Seva Samiti, Mahesh Mahila Parishad, and Mahesh Yuva Sangathan.

The team led by captain Prachi Padwal delivered an outstanding performance in the final match and secured the first position. The winning team included Beena Dhoot, Osin Kabra, Bhavna Maheshwari, Mansvi Mantri, Ranu Jhavar, and Shalini Chandak, who contributed significantly to the team’s success.

Secretary Gopal Lal Chandak informed that the team led by captain Kiran Porwal secured the second position in the competition. The runners-up team included Pooja Maliwal, Alka Bhutda, Preeti Ladda, Shreya, Chetna, and Karuna.

President Ramesh Chandra Porwal stated that on June 16, 2026, sports competitions also included a junior men’s category event in which four teams participated. Volleyball competitions, including semifinal and final matches, were also conducted as part of the festival.

The winning women’s cricket team captain Prachi Padwal and runner-up team captain Kiran Porwal were felicitated with trophies by Devendra Maliwal, President of Mahesh Seva Samiti, Hiran Magri, Udaipur, and Ramesh Bahedia, Deputy of the Udaipur Development Authority.

The successful conduct of the event was supported by Jitu Bhai Inani, Shyam Mohta (President, Youth Organization), Lakshit Mundra (Secretary, Youth Organization), Sports Minister Chinmay Lahoti, Lakshiv Mohta, Prakhar Maliwal, Ajay Maheshwari, and Mehul Lathi, who played key roles in organizing and managing the competitions.

On this occasion, several dignitaries including Ramesh Chandra Porwal (President), Gopal Lal Chandak (Secretary), Suresh Mantri (Vice President), Sanjay Maliwal (Sports Minister), Lakshmi Shankar Gandhi, and Suresh Totla, along with several members of the community, were present.

The sports competitions organized under the Mahesh Navami Festival provided an excellent platform for women and youth to showcase their sporting talent, while also encouraging participation and enthusiasm among all participants.
