Udaipur: The seven-day Special Camp (February 5–11, 2026) organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of the College of Fisheries, a constituent college of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), concluded on February 11 in the presence of Chief Guest Dr. B.K. Sharma, newly appointed Member of the Research Advisory Committee of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi, and NSS Programme Officer Dr. Suman Takar.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sharma urged the volunteers to contribute wholeheartedly to nation-building, emphasizing that the strength of youth is the foundation of a strong nation. He stated that when young people work together as a team with determination, no task is impossible. He appreciated the efforts of the volunteers during the special camp and congratulated them for their valuable contribution to the Divisional-Level Farmers’ Fair held from February 7 to 9, 2026.
During the camp, various activities such as cleanliness drives, voluntary labor (shramdaan), awareness programs on different social issues, and environmental conservation initiatives were conducted. These activities aimed to promote social responsibility and a spirit of service among the volunteers.
NSS Programme Officer Dr. Suman Takar presented a detailed report of the seven-day camp and encouraged the volunteers to remain committed to social and national service alongside their academic pursuits.
On the occasion, volunteers including Harshit, Kiran, Owais, and Priyanka shared their experiences from the camp. The program was anchored by Kiran, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Owais.
