MPUAT: Vice-Chancellor Dr. Pratap Singh Visits Horticulture Farm of Rajasthan College of Agriculture

Udaipur : The Vice-Chancellor of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), Dr. Pratap Singh, visited the horticulture farm of the Department of Horticulture at Rajasthan College of Agriculture.
During the visit, Dean of Rajasthan College of Agriculture Dr. Manoj Mahla, Head of the Department of Horticulture Dr. K.D. Ameta, Dr. L.N. Mahawar, and Farm In-charge Dr. Virendra Singh were present.
On the occasion, the Vice-Chancellor inspected the horticulture nursery and instructed officials to focus on improving the quality of fruit plants, developing disease-resistant varieties, and increasing the production of fruit-bearing and ornamental plants. He also reviewed the All India Coordinated Floriculture Project, the Tuber Crops Project, and the Fruit Project, and provided necessary guidelines to the concerned project in-charges.
During the visit, he suggested measures to enhance income through the nursery and recommended increasing crop intensity in the sapota (chikoo) orchard by adopting intercropping practices.
