Induction Program Held for Newly Admitted PG Students at Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS)

Udaipur: An induction program was organized for newly admitted postgraduate (PG) students in various specialties at Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), a unit of Sai Tirupati University, located in Umarda.

The chief guests of the program—Chairperson Ashish Agrawal, CEO Sheetal Agrawal, and Managing Director Naman Agrawal—extended their best wishes to the newly admitted postgraduate students for a bright future.

The event was also attended by Vice Chancellor Dr. Prashant Nahar, Principal Dr. Suresh Chandra Goyal, Medical Director Dr. Kamlesh Shekhawat, Blood Bank In-charge Dr. Chandra Mathur, Professor Emeritus Dr. B. L. Kumar, and Dr. P. K. Bhatnagar. The program began with a welcome address by Academic Director Dr. Dilip Kumar Parik.

During the ceremony, President Dr. Prashant Nahar delivered a lecture on the importance of artificial intelligence, digitalization in healthcare, and the vision of self-reliant India (Atmanirbhar Bharat). He also guided students about patient consent and legal regulations. Principal Dr. Suresh Chandra Goyal administered the Hippocratic Oath to the newly admitted doctors.

In the introduction session, heads of various departments shared information about their achievements and advanced facilities. Registrar Dr. Devendra Jain highlighted the key features of Sai Tirupati University. Medical Superintendent Dr. Sarita Kant advised students to remain sensitive and responsible towards patients in the hospital.

The program was efficiently conducted by MBBS 2024 batch students Ankur Pandey and Manishika Srivastava.

The success of the event was supported by organizing committee members including Dr. Dilip Kumar Parik, Dr. Srinidhi, Deputy Registrar Prateek Agrawal, Dr. Pooja Singh, Dr. Ajay Chaudhary, Dr. Avantika Gupta, Dr. Vaibhav Chittora, Dr. Pratiksha Tiwari, Gurucharan Singh, and Ashutosh Saxena.

Dr. Srinidhi delivered the vote of thanks, and the program concluded with the National Anthem.
