Pacific Medical University Publishes Landmark Diabetes Special Issue of Its Research Journal

Udaipur. A special issue on diabetes has been published by the Pacific Journal of Medical and Health Sciences, brought out by Pacific Medical College and Pacific Medical University. Chief Editor Dr. S.K. Verma and Editor Ravindra Bangar formally presented copies of this special issue to the institution's Chairman Rahul Agarwal and CEO Sharad Kothari for an official release.

On this occasion, Rahul Agarwal stated that Pacific Medical College and Pacific Medical University is among the select few institutions in the country that has been regularly publishing a research journal for the past ten years. This quarterly research journal is sent free of cost to the libraries of all prominent medical colleges across the country, and this initiative by Pacific Medical University represents a distinctive contribution to the field of medical research.

Chief Editor Dr. S.K. Verma mentioned that the journal has published several special issues over the years: a COVID-19 special issue in December 2022, a Platelets special issue in December 2023, and a Chrono-Nutrition and Trace Elements special issue in December 2024, each addressing significant human health concerns of its time.

Editor Ravindra Bangar, while highlighting the current special issue, noted that a key feature of this issue is a systematically compiled collection of 199 of the latest research papers published from around the world, classified into 28 distinct categories. This special issue is primarily an invaluable resource for diabetes specialists, clinicians, medical students, dietitians, Ayurvedic practitioners, and researchers, and its publication holds great significance given the epidemic-level spread of diabetes.
