Bunty Valmiki Becomes the Voice of Ward 8 Residents, Launches Protest Against LNT Over Water Crisis

Amid the scorching heat in Sri Ganganagar, former councillor Bunty Valmiki has once again emerged as the voice of the people over the worsening water crisis in Ward No. 8. Residents of the ward have been facing severe water shortages for the past 10 days, prompting Bunty Valmiki to lead a strong protest against LNT Company and issue a clear warning to the administration that the public’s patience has now run out.

Under the leadership of Bunty Valmiki, a large number of ward residents reached the office of ADM Subhash Kumar and submitted a memorandum regarding the water crisis. The memorandum stated that several areas of Ward No. 8 (New Ward 12) are suffering from acute water scarcity, with people struggling for every drop of water. Due to the extreme summer heat, the situation has become so severe that residents are unable to get even drinking water.

During the protest, Bunty Valmiki strongly criticized both the administration and LNT Company, stating that despite repeated complaints, no concrete solution had been provided. He said that the people of the ward have been continuously suffering, while responsible officials are merely giving assurances and avoiding accountability.

Bunty Valmiki clearly warned that if the water supply is not restored soon, ward residents would be forced to launch a major agitation. He asserted that he would continue fighting for the rights of the people at every level and ensure that residents receive their rightful water supply.

Strong public anger was visible during the protest. Residents raised slogans in support of Bunty Valmiki and said that whenever the public faces a crisis, he is always the first to step forward and lead the fight.

On the occasion, Valmiki community president Suraj Bhatia, Rajesh Khanna, Ravi Bedi, Raju Tank, Vishal, and many other residents were present.
