Yoga Practice Conducted at District Court Park and Central Jail on the 12th International Yoga Day

Sri Ganganagar: In accordance with the directions of the Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Sri Ganganagar, organized a joint yoga session on the occasion of International Yoga Day under the theme “Yoga for Healthy Ageing.” The program was held at the District Court premises from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. under the guidance of District and Sessions Judge Shri Ravindra Kumar.

On this occasion, judicial officers, advocates, LADCs, panel advocates, Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs), and court staff participated in various yoga activities including light exercises, Surya Namaskar, pranayama, shatkarmas, and meditation. The yoga session was conducted by yoga instructors Shri Mahendra Kumar Suthar, Shri Ajay, and Shri Ashok from Nataraj Yogashala.

The event was attended by several dignitaries including Shri Rajesh Singhal (Sessions Judge, ACD Court), Shri Madan Gopal Arya (Family Court No. 1), Shri Chandraprakash Singh (Family Court No. 2), Shri Palvinder Singh (Special Judge, NDPS cases), Smt. Sandeep Kaur (Commercial Court Judge), Smt. Sushma Parik (SC/ST Court Judge), Shri Naresh Kumar Jain (Chief Judicial Magistrate), Smt. Mandeep (ACJM-01), Ms. Priyanka Soni (JM-01), and Smt. Renubala (JM-02), along with Bar Association President Shri Hansraj Taneja, Vice President Shri Armaan Setia, Secretary Shri Lakshman Ram, and members of the Bar, LADCs, panel advocates, PLVs, and court staff.

At the conclusion of the program, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, Shri Ravi Prakash Suthar, expressed gratitude to all participants for their enthusiastic involvement in the yoga session.

In continuation of the celebrations, a yoga session was also organized at the Central Jail in collaboration between the District Legal Services Authority and the Jail Administration. Inmates were guided in yoga practice by instructors from Nataraj Yogashala. The event was attended by Chief LADC Advocate Shri Ramesh Yadav, Shri Amandeep Chalana, Shri Karan Dhawan, Jail Superintendent Shri Mahavir Prasad Meena, Jailor Shri Charan Singh, and other jail officials.

Similarly, yoga sessions were also organized at various Taluka Legal Services Committees and sub-jails across the Sri Ganganagar jurisdiction, where judicial officers, staff members, advocates, PLVs, and inmates actively participated in yoga practice.
