According to orders issued by Director of Secondary Education (IAS) Sitaram Jat, the World School Volleyball Championship (U-18) for boys and girls, organized by the International School Sports Federation, will be held in Shanghai, China, from July 1 to July 10. The selection and training camp for Rajasthan’s student players representing India will take place from April 15 to 16, 2026, at Harivansh Tana Bhagat Indoor Stadium in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Players will report at Shardul Sports School, Bikaner, on April 11 before departing for Ranchi.

Earlier, Naresh Paliwal had also been part of the Rajasthan contingent as a coach during the selection camp for the Under-15 World School Volleyball Championship held in Pune. In that competition, two Rajasthan players won a bronze medal at the World School Volleyball Championship held in China. The team was then coached by Dr. Shailesh Chaudhary. This time, along with international players Ashish Punia and Nikhil Jat, national-level player Yashwant Kumar will also showcase his performance in the selection camp.
