GITS Welcomes the Class of 2026 with Grand Orientation; Inaugurates Mangni Ram Agrawal Sports Complex & Auditorium

Udaipur: Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies (GITS), Dabok, marked the beginning of the Academic Session 2026 with a grand Orientation Program 2026, warmly welcoming more than 800 newly admitted students across B.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Tech, BCA, and BBA programs. The occasion was made even more memorable with the inauguration of the newly built Mangni Ram Agrawal Sports Complex & Auditorium, dedicated to fostering holistic student development.

The orientation served as an introduction to the institute's academic ecosystem, innovation culture, state-of-the-art infrastructure, technical facilities, student support systems, and vibrant campus life, inspiring students to embark on a journey of excellence and innovation.

Addressing the gathering, Shri J. P. Agrawal, Chairman of Geetanjali University, encouraged students to embrace change with confidence and determination. He emphasized that the world is evolving rapidly and that success belongs to those who remain focused on their goals. "Every great achievement begins with small victories. Strive for excellence in everything you do," he said.

The Chief Guest, Prof. K. C. Sodani, Higher Education Advisor to the Government of Rajasthan, motivated students to cultivate courage, discipline, sound decision-making, innovation, and practical skills alongside academic learning. He remarked that those who dare to walk alone often become the leaders whom others eventually follow.

Dr. S. M. Prasanna Kumar, Director of GITS, assured students that the institute is committed to transforming their aspirations into achievements. He encouraged them to strengthen their digital competency, communication abilities, problem-solving mindset, and leadership skills. He also highlighted the institute's Centers of Excellence, AICTE IDEA Lab, and MSME-supported innovation facilities, which provide an ideal platform for research, entrepreneurship, and technological advancement.

Welcoming students and parents, Dr. P. K. Jain, Director, MBA, said that every new entrant is now an integral part of the GITS family and that the institution shares the responsibility of helping students realize their dreams.

Program Coordinator Dr. Vishal Jain informed that more than 800 first-year students enthusiastically participated in the event, making it one of the largest orientation programs hosted by the institute.

Mr. B. L. Jangid, Finance Controller, emphasized that GITS goes beyond classroom education by encouraging students to transform innovative ideas into projects, prototypes, and successful careers.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Radha Chaudhary, Principal, Geetanjali College of Science & Commerce, while Dr. Anjali Dhabai efficiently conducted the proceedings.
