Grand Event for the First ‘Delhi Gaurav Awards-2026’ to be Held at Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya on August 9

The inaugural ‘Delhi Gaurav Awards-2026’ ceremony will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya and Library (Prime Ministers' Museum and Library) in New Delhi, under the joint aegis of Sanskriti Yuva Sanstha and the Indian Global Foundation. The ceremony will honor 31 distinguished personalities who have made remarkable contributions across various fields, including society, administration, education, culture, media, industry, science, defense, the judiciary, spirituality, and social service. Pandit Suresh Mishra, Founding President of Sanskriti Yuva Sanstha, stated that the objective of this award ceremony is to felicitate distinguished individuals who have made inspiring contributions to the development of the nation and society through their outstanding work, leadership qualities, and social service. Prominent figures to be honored include former Lieutenant Governor Dr. Kiran Bedi; senior Rajyoga teacher B.K. Lakshmi; spiritual saint Swami Prem Anveshi; Padma Shri Kathak dancer Shovana Narayan; former Indian Ambassador Akhilesh Mishra; Lt. Col. (Retd.) Manoj Kumar Sinha; Kendriya Bhandar Managing Director Dr. Mukesh Kumar; Public Relations Society of India President Dr. Ajit Pathak; filmmaker and AAFT University Chancellor Sandeep Marwah; Dreamfolks Services Limited Chairperson Liberatha Kallat; social worker Dr. Gaurav Gupta; film director Raaj Shaandilyaa; filmmaker Ashvin Kumar; Shri Ram Lalla’s attire designer Manish Tripathi; author Vidushi Pokhriyal; and senior journalists Rahul Mishra, Aditi Nagar, and Neeraj Pandey, among other distinguished names. Additionally, Supreme Court advocate Saurav Baisoya, scientist Devanjan Bose, educationist Anshul Dewan, Rohit Mathur (Delhi Airport Authority), publisher Rajesh Bajaj, entrepreneur and social worker Renu Singh, Dr. Karan Chaudhary, Ashish Kumar, Vinod Kashyap, social activist Swati Garg, and other eminent personalities will also be honored. Pandit Suresh Mishra stated that the Sanskriti Yuva Sanstha has been honoring outstanding talent from both India and abroad for the past 31 years. The organization has felicitated numerous distinguished individuals on prestigious international platforms, including the British Parliament (London), the United Nations Headquarters (USA), the Paris Senate, and the Melbourne Parliament (Australia). He added that the ‘Delhi Gaurav Awards’ represent an extension of this illustrious tradition, aiming to foster a spirit of excellence and service in society by honoring inspiring figures who have made significant contributions to nation-building.
