Kota:The Millat Charitable Trust has been continuously working to provide low-cost and affordable medical treatment to the general public.
In his welcome address, Vice Chairman Haji Mukhtar Ansari warmly greeted all patrons and trustees, stating that each one of them is a valuable asset to the Trust. He expressed gratitude for their presence despite the cold weather, noting that their participation provided great encouragement. He added that the meeting would remain memorable for everyone and would always be remembered as a historic milestone on the soil of Hadoti.
General Secretary Haji Mohammad Hayat Khan, while presenting his report, appealed to all distinguished attendees to extend maximum financial support for the hospital. Treasurer Imam Hussain Mansoori presented the income and expenditure statement for the financial year 2024–25. After due discussion, both the Secretary’s report and the financial statement were unanimously approved.
Vice Chairman Haji Salim Abbasi explained in detail the objectives behind forming the Trust and shared information about the building being purchased for the hospital.
Mohammad Zakir Asfi, In-charge of the MCT Clinic, informed that by providing healthcare services at concessional rates, the clinic has successfully helped the public save approximately ₹1.5 crore in medical expenses so far.
In his presidential address, Mohammad Irshad Khan expressed satisfaction with the Trust’s initiatives, stating that in a very short period, the Trust has carried out commendable work and has provided significant relief to people from expensive medical treatment. He emphasized the need for wider publicity of the clinic’s services, including treatment, diagnostic tests, and sonography at subsidized rates, even if some funds need to be spent for this purpose. He also assured full personal support for the hospital.
