Udaipur, : A comparative study of activities at Lab Schools is being conducted as part of a research workshop on data analysis and report writing under the Planning and Management Division of the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Udaipur. The workshop is focused on analyzing and comparing the activities of selected Lab Schools with other schools in the district.
According to DIET Principal and District Education Officer Chandra Shekhar Joshi, the workshop, led by Dr. Mridula Tiwari, Head of the Planning and Management Division, and In-charge Tribhuvan Chobisa, started on Monday at DIET Udaipur. The comparative study involves analyzing CCE, CCP, and ABL activities of Lab Schools in five blocks of the district: Vallabhnagar, Badgaon, Kherabad, Mavli, and Girwa. A total of 18 Lab Schools and 18 other schools participated, with headteachers, subject teachers of Hindi, Environmental Studies, English, and Mathematics contributing to the data collection.
Dr. Tiwari explained that data was gathered through surveys of school principals, headteachers, and subject teachers, and the collected data is currently being analyzed. The research team, which includes Dr. Shruti Ojha, Mrs. Shailesh Arya, and Dr. Yashwant Ameta, will use the findings to draw conclusions. The results of this study will be reviewed at DIET in the coming days, and recommendations will be sent to the Rajasthan State Council of Educational Research and Training (RS-CERT). The workshop will conclude on Saturday.
Training on 21st Century Skills and Vocational Crafts
Additionally, a two-day training program on 21st-century skills and vocational crafts will be organized by the DIET's Training Division from Friday, 29th November to 30th November. This was announced by In-charge Officer Dr. Jagdish Kumawat.
