Udaipur: A grand Collective Dhundhotsav-2026 and Swarn Seedhi Arohan Ceremony for 19 newborn children of the community was organized at Gamer Bagh in Udaipur. The event was jointly organized by the Jain Yuva Parishad and the Digambar Jain Dasha Nagda Samaj.

President of Jain Yuva Parishad Jitendra Jolawat informed that the collective Holi Dhundhotsav-2026 was celebrated with great enthusiasm and grandeur. On this occasion, the newborn boys and girls underwent the Dhund Sanskar according to Jain rituals, which was performed by Hemant Shastri. Hundreds of youth and their family members participated in the event and enjoyed the celebrations.

He added that in the community, the birth of girl children is celebrated with special joy, and such collective programs help strengthen social unity while also encouraging the organization of social events in a more economical way.

The newborn children and their parents were warmly welcomed by members of the community in a traditional manner. The program also included a community feast, cultural performances, and the Swarn Seedhi Arohan ceremony.

Secretary of the organization Bhupendra Mundfoda informed that social worker Shantilal Gadawat along with Vimal Gadawat and Mukesh Gadawat, as well as President of the Digambar Jain community Shantilal Velawat, and other senior members of the community blessed the children during the event. The program was hosted by Lokesh Jolawat.

The event featured traditional delicacies including Huwari Papdi and Piliya Roti, followed by the collective Dhund Sanskar (as per Jain rituals). Cultural activities such as Jain Dandiya, Raas, and Garba were also organized.

The successful organization of the event was supported by several patrons and members including Rajesh Gadawat, Vikram Devda, Ravish Mundaliya, Ritesh Bohra, Nitin Kothari, Jitesh Khaludiya, Ritesh Gunawat, Jitesh Bohra, Lokesh Devda, Mukesh Gadawat, Hitesh Devda, Kalpesh Mundaliya, Vinod Gunawat, Dilip Chawandiya, Paras Jolawat, Kamal Devda, Jitendra Pancholi, Bharat Malvi, Kapil Bhadawat, Rakesh Pancholi, Vipul Devda, Ankit Devda, Yashwant Kothari, Satish Jolawat, and Abhishek Devda, along with other executive members.

On this occasion, the Dasha Nagda community also organized a grand collective Swamivatsalya (community feast) for all participants.
