UDAIPUR— Sai Tirupati University organized an e-poster presentation competition on the theme "Organ Donation – Jeevan Sanjeevani Abhiyan" at Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Udaipur, to promote awareness about organ donation among students and the community.

The event aimed to educate participants about the importance of organ donation and encourage people to pledge their organs to help save lives.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Prashant Nahar attended the program as the chief guest. Registrar Dr. Devendra Jain and Principal and Controller Dr. Suresh Goyal were the guests of honor. Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries described organ donation as one of the highest forms of humanitarian service, emphasizing that it offers a new lease on life to patients in need of organ transplants.

Students from various constituent colleges of Sai Tirupati University participated enthusiastically in the competition. Through creative digital posters, they highlighted the significance of organ donation, social responsibility and its role in saving lives.

The entries were evaluated by a panel comprising Dr. Sarita Kanth, Medical Superintendent; Dr. Vijay Rawat, Principal of Venkateshwar College of Nursing; and Dr. Anurag Pateria, Neurosurgeon. The judges commended the students for their creativity and the effectiveness of their awareness messages.

University officials said the successful conduct of the event was made possible through the coordinated efforts of faculty members, the organizing committee, volunteers and the technical team.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks to the guests and participants, along with a collective pledge to spread greater public awareness about organ donation. Organizers described the initiative as a reflection of Sai Tirupati University's commitment to social responsibility and public health.

Dr. Pranav Kumar, Professor and Head of the Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology and the event coordinator, thanked the guests and participants and urged people to take the pledge for organ donation, calling it a meaningful step toward saving lives.
