####Prof. Karunesh Saxena Leads a New Era of Skill-Based Learning at Sangam University

Bhilwara, Rajasthan: In a landmark step towards empowering students with future-ready skills, Sangam University has established Rajasthan’s first Spoken Tutorial Skill Accelerator Lab in collaboration with Spoken Tutorial, EduPyramids, and SINE, IIT Bombay. The initiative reflects the visionary leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Karunesh Saxena, whose commitment to innovation, employability, and technology-driven education continues to transform the academic landscape.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Prof. Saxena emphasized that modern education must go beyond textbooks and

classrooms. "Our goal is not only to impart academic knowledge but also to equip students with practical skills that align with industry expectations and emerging technologies," he stated.

Recognizing the growing influence of Artificial Intelligence, digital transformation, and open-source technologies across every sector, Prof. Saxena has consistently championed initiatives that bridge the gap between education and industry. Under his guidance, Sangam University has successfully integrated the principles of the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) into its academic framework, ensuring that students receive experiential and outcome-based learning opportunities.

A testament to this commitment is the remarkable achievement of over 2,000 Sangam University students who have already completed Spoken Tutorial certification courses. This growing participation reflects the culture of skill development and continuous learning fostered by Prof. Saxena’s leadership.

The newly launched Skill Accelerator Lab will provide access to more than 125 open-source software courses and training modules, enabling students, faculty, and staff to gain industry-relevant competencies and earn prestigious certifications from IIT Bombay. Beyond the university campus, the facility is expected to benefit students and aspiring professionals across Bhilwara and neighboring regions, creating a wider ecosystem of digital empowerment.

Prof. Saxena believes that universities must serve as catalysts for innovation, entrepreneurship, and nation-building.
