Udaipur: Under the directions of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the state government is committed to the effective implementation of Gram Utthan Camps being organized at the Girdawar Circle level across Rajasthan. In this context, Principal Secretary, Mines and Geology Department and District In-charge Secretary, Shri T. Ravikant, visited Udaipur on Friday. He was accompanied by the District Collector and other senior officials.
During his visit, Shri Ravikant reviewed the Gram Utthan Camp organized at Khemli village in Ghassa Tehsil, where he obtained detailed information on the services being provided to the general public by various departments. He instructed officials to ensure that maximum eligible beneficiaries are covered through these camps.
While inspecting the camp, the In-charge Secretary visited departmental stalls and discussed with officials the progress of schemes, the number of beneficiaries, and on-the-spot grievance redressal and service delivery. He also appreciated the organic products displayed by farmers and emphasized the need to promote natural and organic farming.
Interacting with the villagers, Shri Ravikant distributed benefit letters to beneficiaries of various schemes and highlighted the crucial role of the administrative machinery in ensuring that welfare schemes reach the last person in rural areas. He stated that Gram Utthan Camps are emerging as an effective platform for the swift resolution of rural issues.
Providing details of the camp, Joint Director, Agriculture Department, Sudhir Kumar Verma informed that several eligible beneficiaries were extended benefits by different departments during the camp. A total of 158 applications for fencing were received, 160 Soil Health Cards were distributed, 175 cases of mini kit distribution and 300 seed distribution cases were verified. In addition, preparations for 14 solar pump applications were completed, 55 Kisan Credit Card applications were received, and 756 livestock owners were registered under the Chief Minister Mangla Pashu Bima Yojana, along with issuance of health certificates.
Furthermore, 102 registrations were completed under the PM Surya Ghar Scheme, 11 Farmer Registry registrations were finalized, and financial sanctions under various schemes were issued on the spot, benefiting farmers and the general public.
The event was attended by District Collector Namit Mehta, Mavli MLA Pushkar Dangi, social worker K. G. Paliwal, Additional District Collector Dipendra Singh, Zila Parishad CEO Riya Dabi, Mavli SDM Ramesh Sirvi, along with officials from various departments and public representatives.
