Udaipur: As part of the Rajasthan Government's "Hariyali Rajasthan" campaign, the Mewar Kshatriya Mahasabha, Udaipur, organized a tree plantation drive to promote environmental conservation and encourage community participation in creating a greener future.
Office bearers and members of the Mahasabha enthusiastically participated in the initiative by planting a variety of shade-giving and environmentally beneficial saplings. Those present included Mahasabha President Balu Singh Kanawat, Udaipur City President Dr. Prithvi Raj Chauhan, Hari Singh, Sumer Singh, Devendra Singh, Keshar Singh, Pushpendra Singh, Aditya Raj Singh, Rudra Pratap Singh, Bhawani Singh, BJP leader Gajpal Singh, and Congress leader Lal Singh, among several others.
Participants also pledged to nurture and protect the saplings to ensure their healthy growth. Speaking on the occasion, Mahasabha representatives said that making Rajasthan greener is a shared social and environmental responsibility. They emphasized that tree plantation is essential for preserving the environment and ensuring clean air and water for future generations.
The Mahasabha announced that it will continue organizing similar plantation drives across the district. As part of the campaign, every member resolved to plant at least one tree and take responsibility for its care until it matures. A large number of community members attended the event.
