Sriganganagar: Government College Hindumalkot witnessed an atmosphere full of sportsmanship and enthusiasm as athletic competitions were successfully held at the college sports ground. Students participated with great zeal and energy, showcasing their skills across various events.
The competitions included the 100-meter race, 150-meter race, 400-meter race, and long jump. Students from different classes demonstrated exceptional speed, endurance, and physical prowess in these events.
The events began with the 100-meter race, where Anmol secured first place, Robin came second, and Jashan finished third. In the 150-meter race, Anmol again took first place, Guru Sahib was second, and Robin finished third. The 400-meter race saw Anmol as the winner, Guru Sahib second, and Lakhvinder third. In the long jump, competitors showcased impressive technique and strength, with Anmol finishing first, Robin second, and Guru Sahib third.
In the girls’ category, Neelmarani won first place in the 400-meter race, Sukhvinder Kaur second, and Parveen Kaur third. In the 100-meter race, Rajveer took first place, Pooja second, and Gurvinder third. In the long jump, Sukhvinder was first, Neelmarani second, and Gurvinder third.
The college’s Acting Principal praised all the winners for their outstanding performances, noting that their consistent practice contributed to their success. He encouraged other students to take inspiration and continue practicing regularly. He also emphasized that sports activities are essential for the holistic development of students. With the support of all faculty members, the competitions were successfully completed.
