Sri Ganganagar: A district-level meeting on the Panch Gaurav Programme was held under the chairmanship of District Collector Dr. Amit Yadav to review preparations and implementation plans. The meeting was conducted in compliance with the directions issued by Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma during the seventh Raj-Unnati meeting.
Dr. Yadav directed all departments associated with the programme to work in close coordination and prepare department-wise action plans before Ganganagar Foundation Day. He also instructed officials to develop a unified logo for the programme and ensure effective implementation of planned activities.
Reviewing the budget for 2026–27, officials informed the meeting that ₹41.80 lakh has been allocated to the district, including ₹21.80 lakh for the Forest Department and ₹5 lakh each for the Industries, Horticulture, Sports, and Tourism Departments. The Forest Department was asked to complete plantation preparations, including pit digging, well in advance.
