Drug De-addiction Awareness Programme Organised at Mammadkheda School

Sri Ganganagar: As part of the Drug-Free Sri Ganganagar Campaign led by District Collector Dr. Amit Yadav and Superintendent of Police Harishankar, a drug de-addiction awareness programme was organized at the Government Senior Secondary School, Mammadkheda.

Addressing the students, Vikram Jyani from the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment said that drug abuse is not merely an individual's habit but a social evil that destroys families, dreams, and futures. He emphasized that addiction gradually robs young people of their health, education, self-respect, and the trust of their parents. Sahiram encouraged students to make achieving their dreams their greatest passion, highlighting that dedication to education, sports, arts, and social service leads to personal success and national progress. Principal Mahavir Prasad Solanki urged students to stay away from drugs and motivate their families and friends to do the same. The programme concluded with students and teachers taking a collective pledge to lead a drug-free life and spread awareness against substance abuse in society.
