Udaipur: Reinforcing its commitment to promoting safer roads and encouraging timely assistance to accident victims, Geetanjali Hospital, in collaboration with the Transport & Road Safety Department and Aadhar Foundation Trust, will organize its annual Road Safety Awareness Campaign on July 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the Geetanjali Auditorium.
As part of the campaign, the official poster was unveiled by Gyandev Vishwakarma, Regional Transport Officer (RTO), Kalpesh Chand Rajbar, Head of Marketing, Geetanjali Hospital, Narayan Chaudhary, Director of Aadhar Foundation Trust, and Preeti Pamecha, Secretary of Aadhar Foundation Trust.
The highlight of the event will be the "Road Safety Superhero Awards", presented under the Rahveer Yojana. The awards will honour individuals and organizations that have demonstrated exceptional courage and humanity by providing immediate assistance to road accident victims, playing a crucial role in saving lives during emergencies.
The awardees will include ambulance drivers, police personnel, doctors, blood donors, nursing officers, social organizations, and other Good Samaritans who have set inspiring examples of compassion and social responsibility through their timely intervention during road accidents.
As one of the region's leading trauma care centres, Geetanjali Hospital regularly conducts public awareness initiatives aimed at promoting road safety, educating citizens about the importance of prompt emergency response, and encouraging community participation in life-saving efforts.
During the programme, the Regional Transport Officer (RTO), Udaipur, will deliver a special address highlighting the importance of adhering to traffic regulations, responsible road behaviour, and creating a safer transportation environment. The campaign seeks to strengthen public awareness about road safety and inspire more citizens to come forward in support of accident victims, fostering a culture of responsibility and humanitarian service.
