Musical Sitolia Event to Be Held Today at Ashoka Green on Makar Sankranti

Unique Fusion of Music and Traditional Games

Udaipur. The holy festival of Makar Sankranti is being celebrated this year in a unique and vibrant manner by Udaipur’s renowned musical organization “Suro Ki Mandali.” Blending the excitement of traditional games with the joy of music, the organization is hosting a special event titled “Musical Sitolia.”

Founder President of Suro Ki Mandali, Mr. Mukesh Madhavani, informed that to make the festival memorable, this special celebration will be organized on January 14, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Ashoka Green, 100 Feet Road, Shobhagpura, Udaipur.

Unique Fusion of Music and Traditional Games

Mr. Madhavani explained that the event will offer a delightful mix of sports, music, and festive fun. This year’s Sitolia game will be slightly different from the traditional format.

The team setting up the Sitolia pieces will be required to sing a melodious song with full enthusiasm while arranging them.

Similarly, the player hitting the ball must perform a song before proceeding to the next move.

This innovative concept is designed to create an atmosphere filled with laughter, rhythm, and celebration.

Participation from Various City Organizations

Members from various organizations across the city are expected to participate, adding to the festive spirit of the event. Along with music and games, participants will also enjoy kite flying, making the celebration even more colorful.

Participants have been encouraged to bring along their own Sitolia equipment, bats, kites, and manjha, so that the joy and excitement of the festival can be doubled.

The Musical Sitolia event promises to be a joyful celebration of tradition, togetherness, and melody, marking Makar Sankranti in a truly memorable way for the people of Udaipur.
