Grand Graduation Day Ceremony for Prep Class Celebrated at DPS Udaipur

Udaipur. To celebrate the unique talent, abilities, and achievements of young learners, Delhi Public School, Udaipur organized a grand Graduation Day ceremony for Prep Class students of the CBSE and Cambridge branches with great enthusiasm and joy on the school campus. The theme of the ceremony was “Colors of India.” The programme commenced with a welcome song.
The Chief Guest of the occasion was Colonel Professor Shri Shiv Singh Sarangdevot, Vice Chancellor of Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University, who inaugurated the programme by lighting the ceremonial lamp. On this occasion, Pro Vice Chairman Shri Govind Agrawal warmly welcomed and felicitated the Chief Guest along with distinguished guests including Shri Arvinder Singh, CEO of Arth Diagnostics; Dr. Lokesh Bharti, District Education Officer; renowned doctor Dr. Chirayu Pamecha; and Smt. Anjana Sukhwal, Additional Superintendent of Police.
Following the inauguration, the young students mesmerized the audience with a series of vibrant cultural performances. The children presented colorful dance performances showcasing Indian culture, folk art, national symbols, sports, and spirituality, creating a delightful and memorable atmosphere.
Chief Guest Colonel Professor Shri Shiv Singh Sarangdevot ceremoniously conferred graduation certificates by presenting gowns and caps to the Prep Class students, marking an important milestone in their educational journey.
Addressing the gathering, Pro Vice Chairman Shri Govind Agrawal emphasized that providing children with opportunities to perform on stage from an early age plays a vital role in their holistic development and personality building. In his address, the Chief Guest remarked that pre-primary education is an exciting milestone for children, as it marks their first step toward a future filled with hopes and possibilities. He described the occasion as a symbol of new beginnings that adds fresh dimensions to a child’s school life and learning journey.
School Principal Shri Sanjay Narwaria, in his address, congratulated the young graduates on their transition from pre-primary to formal primary education. He shared that 350 students enthusiastically participated in the event, while the presence of nearly 1,000 parents made the ceremony truly successful and memorable.
Members of the School Management Committee including Smt. Mani Agrawal, Deepak Agrawal, Devesh Agrawal, Apurva Agrawal, and Ashita Agrawal, along with several dignitaries from the city and parents, were also present at the ceremony.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Prep Class student Preesha, expressing gratitude to all guests, teachers, and parents.
