Ajmer: The two-day State General Council meeting and elections of the Akhil Rajasthan State Agriculture Supervisor Organization, Jaipur, were successfully concluded in the holy town of Pushkar (Ajmer). In the meeting, Mr. Rahul Todavata was unanimously elected as the State President. The outgoing President Mr. Anand Singh and Mr. Amar Singh Saharan administered the oath of office and confidentiality to the newly elected President.
More than 200 agriculture supervisors working across over 35 districts of the state, along with retired agriculture supervisors and assistant agriculture officers, participated in the meeting. The inaugural session was held on Saturday at the Jat Dharamshala auditorium in Pushkar, where Patron Mr. Om Prakash Sharma highlighted the objectives of the General Council meeting.
In the meeting, under the chairmanship of Mr. Navrang Sharma from Sri Ganganagar, it was decided to form a Constitution Amendment Committee of the organization, with a special focus on increasing the participation of women employees. It was also resolved that long-pending organizational elections at the district level would be conducted in all circumstances by February 28.
The meeting also reviewed the number of agriculture personnel from various districts who would participate in the Rajasthan State Employees Joint Federation’s mega rally scheduled to be held in Jaipur on Monday, February 12. According to the preparations reported by district presidents, more than 2,000 agriculture personnel from across the state will participate in the Jaipur mega rally.
On the second day, Sunday, district presidents from 35 districts including Pali, Sirohi, Bundi, Barmer, Tonk, Karauli, Udaipur, Banswara, Pratapgarh, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Alwar, Sikar, Jhalawar, Sri Ganganagar, and Hanumangarh expressed their consent to appoint Mr. Rahul Todavata as the new State President. Subsequently, Mr. Todavata was unanimously elected to the post.
The meeting was addressed by senior member Mr. Motilal Champawat, State General Secretary Mr. Mahendra Kumar Sharma, State President Mr. Anand Singh, Mr. Kedar Sharma, Mr. Ashok Kumar Kalwania, Mr. Puran Faujdar, Mr. Shivshankar Upadhyay, Mr. Govind Tiwari, Mr. Dinesh Bhansali, Mr. Babulal Gurjar, Mr. Karnsingh Bhati, and Women’s Coordinator Ms. Bhavana Bhambhu, among others. At the beginning, Mr. Narendra Shukla presented the report of the previous General Council meeting held in Alwar.
